General Dentistry
Comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from preventive checkups to urgent treatment.
Routine and preventive care is the foundation of long-term oral health, and it’s most of what we do. Regular cleanings and exams catch small problems (a cavity starting, gums that are inflamed, a tooth wearing down) while they’re still simple to fix. For most families in North Las Vegas, two visits a year is enough to stay ahead of trouble.
What general dentistry covers
General dentistry is broad on purpose. At our office on Craig Road, it includes:
- Cleanings and exams to keep teeth and gums healthy and spot issues early
- Tooth-colored fillings for cavities
- Children’s dentistry, from a toddler’s first visit through the teenage years
- Sealants and fluoride to protect kids’ teeth from decay
- Digital X-rays that show what an exam alone can’t
- Periodontal (gum) therapy when gums need more than a routine cleaning
- Tooth extractions when a tooth can’t be saved
- Emergency visits for a toothache, a broken tooth, or a lost filling
- Oral sedation for patients who get anxious in the chair
We start every new patient with a cleaning and exam, talk through what we find, and plan care around your schedule and budget instead of a fixed script.
A practice for the whole family
We treat kids and adults, often on the same day, so parents aren’t making separate trips. Dr. Zac is a father of five, and the office is set up to stay calm for nervous patients and patient with young ones.
Common questions
How often should I come in?
For most people, a cleaning and exam every six months. If you’ve had gum problems, we may suggest coming in more often for a while.
Do you see children?
Yes. We see kids and adults, and we’re used to first visits. The goal is to make them easy, so a child grows up comfortable at the dentist.
